Corey Hickey, D.O., Receives Board Certification By The American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
ERIE, Pa. – HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Erie congratulates Corey Hickey, D.O., on his recent board certification by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Hickey joined HealthSouth Erie as an independent practice physician and program director in July 2016.
“He shares the commitment to high-quality outcomes, patient care and patient satisfactions that are not only important to us, but most important to the family members of the patients we treat,” said John Papalia, CEO of HealthSouth Erie.
Dr. Hickey completed his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency program at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). While there, he served as the acting academic chief resident of the UPMC residency program. Dr. Hickey completed his medical studies at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has a bachelor’s degree in sports medicine from the University of Pittsburgh in Bradford and is on staff at UPMC Hamot as the trauma rehabilitation director.
